Crepe de Chine silk long blue scarf. This beautiful patterned blue scarf was first hand painted in lighter hues of blue, turquoise, and purple along with touches of yellow, green, pink, and red. After the scarf was heat set to make the dyes permanent, I used an original silk screens that I drew to print the dark navy blue the color of dye on top. This layer created an overall pattern. The scarf was heat set again so the dye becomes permanent and one with the scarf. The scarf is soft and supple. I love crepe de chine silk because is the silk doesn't wrinkle and drapes beautifully. It's a wonderful travel scarf.
