Original oil painting, Fall Colors, Dunbar Beach, Dunes national park

This is a small oil painting. It was painted on a beautiful fall day this year. I was painting on site at Dunbar Beach. It was the end of September and the leaves had turned to gold and orange. Lake Michigan was bright blue. The temperature was mid 60s and comfortable. I was inspired to paint in bright colors. I was happy and wanted to express that feeling. The size of this painting is 9”x 12”. It is I framed,however, I do show it in a black floater frames that really sets it off. It’s a gem of a painting.
